We were having a very tough time selling our house in La Quinta. That’s when we learned that who you choose as your agent makes all the difference in the world. Our house had previously been on the market for almost 6 months with another agent. During this time the agent never held an Open House and only 5-6 people viewed the house. This agent was very negative about “the market” and advised us to take our house off the market and wait 5 or 6 years. We needed to sell faster………

It was after that I noticed David Reed’s marketing materials in the mail. Having been a marketing professional for more than 30 years I could tell he knew what he was doing. Our experience with David was delightful. He always came to our home to make the process easier for us. He is very, very knowledgeable about the market and showed us why our house had not sold previously.

David sold our house in 15 DAYS!!

This after being told we’d have to wait 5 or 6 years! He is very pleasant to work with and understands how to price and promote your home better than anyone I’ve seen in my history of working with Realtors.

If you are considering selling your property, do yourself a favor and call David first. It will save you so much time and frustration. We could not be more pleased with the results David creates!!!

It was quite a riveting thought process that my husband and Iexperienced after making the decision to sell our house. Yes, sell our house when all media communication agreed that ‘this is not a good time’. This fact together with the fact that the snowbirds had not even thought of coming back to the desert…we were definitely not ‘in season’…was to say the least…unnerving.

And so we began the sale process by meeting up with David Reed at Tarbell Realtors in La Quinta. From the very ‘get go’ this experience seemed to stabilize our concerns. We are not sure whether it was his professionalism, his abundance of knowledge in this area, the way in which he communicated with us, his ‘can do’ attitude, the fact that within days he held 3 open-houses, or was it a combination of all of the above, we have not decided, but it definitely took our notice. My husband and I, both in our 60’s have bought and sold many houses in our time but this experience was different and we liked very much what we saw.

There followed much communication from David keeping us updated regarding his activities. I actually ‘googled’ our address one day and found our house to be ‘all over the internet’. Wow, is the only way to explain it.

30 days later we received an offer that we accepted. And after 30 more days escrow was closed. I honestly think that my husband and I are still a little ‘shell shocked’. We have given his name as a recommendation to many people since.

Yes, I know that we had luck on our side to sell the house, but working with David, even though it had not sold so quickly, was beyond our expectations and an experience that anyone getting ready to sell their house should share without hesitation.

The escrow process can be very stressful but we knew we could count on you to guide us through that process safely and successfully. And you did it with a very professional attitude.
